Binocular Localization Using Resonant Beam

Locating mobile devices precisely in indoor scenarios is a challenging task because of the signal diffraction and reflection complicated environments. One vital cause deteriorating localization performance inevitable power dissipation along propagation path signals. In this paper, we propose high-accuracy scheme based on resonant beam system (RBS) binocular vision, i.e., (BRBL). The BRBL utilizes energy-concentrated self-aligned transmission RBS to realize high-efficiency self-positioning for target (MT). method combined with obtain three-dimensional (3-D) coordinates MT first time. To exhibit mechanism, elaborate model, including analysis geometric derivation RBS. Then, establish model RBS, noise models spot imaging, respectively, analyse system. Finally, results numerical comparison show that balances complexity precision effectively, providing cm-level accuracy its simplicity ease implementation.
